American OEM

ā€œWe are featuring ā€˜Wet Works,ā€™ which has a six-sided coating fit system. There is a coating on top of the stain, under the clear wear coats that provides a water-resistant coating, and then we also put a coating on the edges and on the back. This reduces moisture absorption by 250 percent. It doesnā€™t completely eliminate it, but we found if we submerge it for three days in water and take it out, compared to a control sample, the control sample has absorbed 250 percent more moisture. When it dries out, the control sample is permanently damaged, but the Wet Works goes back to the way it was before, and you canā€™t tell it was ever exposed.ā€

Howell Hardwood Flooring

ā€œThis year at DOMOTEX, we are rolling out what is the industryā€™s only warranty against seasonal movement. Itā€™s lifetime, and itā€™s transferable, but itā€™s only offered through certified providers, people that weā€™ve worked with and we know, that are professionals at what they do. We believe when the manufacturer and the professional provider team up, then they can offer a product that will not move. It will stay flat for the life of the floor, giving benefit to their customer, adding value to their home, and itā€™s something that can be transferred when the house sells.ā€

Premiere Finishing & Coating LLC

ā€œWeā€™ve added a new machine this year that allows us to apply some pretreatments to flooring before we pre-finish it. One is random band saw marks, and they can be done with or without the fire application, and also a hybrid circle saw mark that we can do with the same texturing. Then, of course, with custom finishing capabilities, we can put on any color that the customer needs.ā€

Mullican Hardwood Flooring

ā€œWeā€™re featuring the Madison Square Collection. It is a 6.5-inch wide white oak, rustic with a sliced face veneer, which gives us a similar look to our Wexford Collection. It gives us a high-end look at a value price. That hits a price point in the market, specifically the builder market, allowing that product to transition at an affordable price.ā€

Tramex Meters

ā€œTramex is introducing the new CME X5 digital concrete moisture meter. This moisture meter transforms into the ideal all-in-one instrument for flooring professionals capable of performing testing per ASTM 2659 and ASTM 2170, as well as providing Ambient readings. This new meter also has Blue Tooth connectivity to Tramex apps to simplify and compile data for reports, as well as geotag test results.ā€
